Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by reviewing the documentation and the current viewport design; done would mean supporting a 2D UV layout beside a 3D mesh view, with the behavior documented.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

Hi! I'd like to use polyscope to show UV layout in a 2D view next to a 3D view of the mesh (kinda like Blender). Looking at the doc it doesn't seem possible at the moment? How much of a lift would be required to support that?
