Research direction

Read packages/provider-http/src/provider.ts, especially storePayload and the fetchJson call path. Trace when a request begins and when its response is stored, then run the relevant provider-http tests. Done means sequence numbers reflect request start order so a slower, older request cannot overwrite newer data.

Description

area:holodeck review-finding

From PR #89 re-review. packages/provider-http/src/provider.ts storePayload assigns the sequence number when a response arrives. In poll mode, a read() and a poll in flight at the same time can finish out of order: the request that started earlier but finished later wins, even though its data is older. Fix: take the sequence number when the request starts, and pass it through fetchJson. Severity P3: the next poll corrects it.
