Research direction

Start by tracing the camera's scroll-wheel zoom handling in the polyscope viewer and review how camera controls are currently configured. Done means zoom sensitivity can be adjusted manually or dynamically, with behavior that makes details in large structures easier to inspect.

Description

enhancement

Hi, I've found that it's difficult to zoom in on details in large structures since each tick of the scroll wheel moves the camera too far forward. It would be very helpful if there was a way to adjust the zoom sensitivity either manually of dynamically

as a comparison blender has an "auto depth" setting which seems like it scales the zoom rate based on the depth in some area around the center of the camera
