Beschreibung
A matrix has no eigenvalue method. The eigenvalues are the roots of the characteristic polynomial det(A - λI), which Determinant takes symbolically and without pivot conditions; up to 4×4 the roots are in radicals, and beyond that where the polynomial factors.
The MCP server's am_eigenvalues (amcli mcp) does exactly this, and belongs in the library: [[0, J], [J, 0]] gives λ^2 - J^2 and the eigenvalues ±sqrt(J^2).
