Research direction

Read the 11-comment thread first to see whether maintainers settled on Winget, Scoop and Chocolatey or a subset, and how DoomTools is currently distributed (release zip layout, launcher scripts, Java requirement). Check the project's release process and any install instructions in the repository docs to learn what a package would wrap. Done means manifests for the chosen package managers exist in their respective repositories, install and uninstall cleanly, and pin a real released version — expect part of the work to happen outside this repo.

Description

help wanted

Add to Winget, Scoop, Chocolatey for easier management.
You can already find some launchers and source ports there.
Also, there are Slade and Trenchbroom.
