调研方向

阅读how_to/process_by_channel_group.html中的“Sorting by channel group”一节,并将手动拆分示例与split_by("group")循环进行对照。确认排序器是否应该接收sub_recording,而不是整个拆分后的录音集合;当示例按预期处理每个组且文档与该行为一致时,即为完成。

描述

documentation

Hi, sorry about all the issue reports and thanks again for Spikeinterface which is great!

I'm trying to sort a tetrode dataset so I was following the instructions here to sort by channel group.

My workflow is to run through the full process per tetrode so I can start manual refinement (with Phy) on each tetrode as its automated sorting is done. So I want to do "option 2: manual splitting" so I can then to the sorting analyzer and extraction to phy per tetrode.

The documentation says to do:

split_preprocessed_recording = preprocessed_recording.split_by("group")

sortings = {}
for group, sub_recording in split_preprocessed_recording.items():
    sorting = run_sorter(
        sorter_name='kilosort2',
        recording=split_preprocessed_recording,
        folder=f"folder_KS2_group{group}"
        )
    sortings[group] = sorting

I wonder if it shouldn't be recording = sub_recording in that loop instead? Otherwise 'sorting' seems to always contain all tetrodes.
Let me know if there's a better way to report issues about the documentation.

Thanks,
El.
