Research direction

Start by locating the Chaos visualizer and the zoom or drawing-size controls used by the Prime Jewels gallery specimen; the issue does not name specific files or tests. Compare the current zoom steps and drawing bounds in Firefox, then determine whether finer zoom, circle-size control, or both best address the request. Done when the specimen can be scaled close to the drawing panel’s edges without clipping.

Description

ui visualizer

Currently, for the Prime Jewels gallery specimen, when it draws by default, the diamond of the graphic takes up maybe 75-80% of the height of the drawing panel on my laptop, in the Firefox browser. When I zoom in one notch on my scroll wheel, the image looks like about 110% of the height of drawing panel. For downloading the best snapshot, it is frustrating to not be able to scale it to take up as much of the viewport as it can without running off the edges.

To relieve this frustration, it would be great to either allow finer control over the zoom, or some control in this visualizer of the size of the circle in which the chaos game is being played, or possibly both (presumably finer zoom control would enhance other visualizers as well).
