説明
XML responses of paginated routes always carry a cursor
attribute. On the last page its value is the string None:
Steps to reproduce: GET /shells with Accept: application/xml
on a repository with fewer than limit shells:
<response xmlns:aas="https://admin-shell.io/aas/3/1" cursor="None">...
Expected behavior: No cursor attribute when there is no next
page, as in the JSON response. Clients must treat the cursor as an
opaque value
(Part 2, Pagination),
so None looks like a valid next-page token.
Actual behavior: cursor="None"; a client that follows it sends
?cursor=None and gets 400.
Environment: develop @ 2773ac06.
Possible fix: Set the attribute only if paging_metadata.cursor
is not None. #526 kept the XML encoding on purpose because there is
no schema for XML responses (#519); this only drops the literal
None.
