Research direction

Read editor-state.ts for existing editor modes and actions, then inspect EditorLayer.tsx and src/objects/connector.ts, especially resolveLinkEnd and resolveRouteEnd. Trace how connector placement and object deletion currently work before choosing an implementation path. Done means users can draw anchored connectors, re-anchor or free ends, manage waypoints, and avoid dangling anchors when objects are deleted.

Description

area:holodeck enhancement

Split out of #36 (E2). The connector part renders anchored lines (placement.link: object, port or free ends, waypoints; A* routed), but the editor can only place a free 3-cell connector from the palette; anchoring needs scene JSON or a host.

Wanted (Arcentry parity): connector draw mode (click an object/port, click another), drag an end handle to re-anchor or free it, add/remove waypoints, and delete-cascade or detach when an anchored object is deleted (today a dangling anchor just draws nothing).

Where: packages/editor-2.5d-react/src/editor/editor-state.ts (new mode + actions), EditorLayer.tsx (handles), src/objects/connector.ts (resolveLinkEnd, reuse resolveRouteEnd port snapping). Overlaps E3 editing UX.
