This issue asks whether maintainers are open to adversarial-telemetry scenarios; it does not name files, tests, or a defined change to implement. Start by reviewing AIOpsLab’s existing microservice scenarios and scenario format, then clarify the proposed format and scope with maintainers. There is no implementation-level definition of done yet.

Description

Hello AIOpsLab team,

We're five final-year students at Cairo University's Faculty of Computing & AI. Our graduation research project, ReliOps, is built on AIOpsLab: a multi-agent on-call system (monitor, diagnosis, planner and verifier) running on your microservice scenarios.

Our question follows the USENIX Security 2026 AIOpsDoom paper, which also used AIOpsLab. When an attacker can write text into the telemetry an agent reads, where should the guard sit? input filtering, privilege separation between agents, a policy check before acting, or health checks and rollback after and what does each cost in legitimate fixes it blocks?

As far as we can tell, AIOpsLab has no adversarial-telemetry scenarios yet. We'd like to build ours so they can be contributed upstream. Would the maintainers be open to reviewing the scenario format, and is there interest in merging it?

Our first milestone, in November, is reproducing the published baseline on AIOpsLab.

Thank you,
Omar Betawy
