Context
The robustness tests (#378) solve with MadNLP under other barrier options. With CTSolvers 0.5, the MadNLP strategy accepts mu_init but MadNLP 0.10 ignores it, and barrier is not declared. So test/common/solve_optimalcontrol.jl (function barrier) builds MadNLP.MonotoneUpdate(; mu_init) or MadNLP.LOQOUpdate() itself and passes it with OptimalControl.bypass(...).
Fixed upstream in control-toolbox/CTSolvers.jl#321 (control-toolbox/CTSolvers.jl#322, merged): mu_init and mu_min now reach MadNLP, and barrier is a declared option. The fix is on CTSolvers 0.7.x. OptimalControl and CTDirect still require CTSolvers = "0.5", so it cannot be used here yet.
To do, once the test environments resolve CTSolvers ≥ 0.7.1
- In
test/common/solve_optimalcontrol.jl, remove thebypass: passmu_initas is, andbarrier=MadNLP.LOQOUpdate()as a declared option (or remove the functionbarrier). - Keep the robustness option sets of
test/common/configs.jlunchanged, and check on one problem that the iterates are the same as with thebypass(e.g.mountain_carwithmu_init=1e-5reaches 102.39757). - Update
test/README.mdif it mentions thebypass.
