Research direction

Start by tracing the existing shotgun and 16S pooling workflows in the Python backend and compare how their plate and pool structures are represented. Define the MiniPCR entry point and verify how 384 individual wells or four 96-well sub-plates are handled, without introducing a pool-of-pools step. Done means both supported pooling modes work through the MiniPCR workflow.

Description

The MiniPCR workflow needs to support the pooling of some or all of 384 individual wells, or alternatively some or all of a 384 well plate as 4 96 well 'sub-plates'. MiniPCR is similar to shotgun, in that it does not require a pool of pools, the way 16S does; the backend of this fork should reflect that.
