Description

In Playwright WebKit (Docker, FLUX_UI_BROWSER=webkit), wide journeys fail the "no uncaught page errors" guard. The errors read ... due to access control checks. and come from same-origin GET /api/v1/... requests:

  • assistant-runs
  • auth/capabilities
  • background-compute-connections
  • dms
  • members
  • projects/.../people

They reproduce on unchanged main: test_sketches 11/12, test_app_shell 04/11/11b/12–14, and test_scenarios test_1/test_2 (seen while evaluating #449, #461 and #470). This blocks WebKit acceptance (#20 AC-4, #461 AC-4).

Likely cause, unverified: WebKit reports a fetch cancelled by navigation or unmount as a network TypeError with this message, and the app leaves the rejection unhandled.

Acceptance:

  1. Identify the actual cause with evidence.
  2. Make the app handle cancelled and aborted requests without an uncaught error, while keeping real failures visible. The page-error guard must not be weakened.
  3. With FLUX_UI_BROWSER=webkit, the listed journeys pass.
  4. Add a negative control.
