The page's active_learning score is 2.4.
Proposed change
Replace Activity 1 with a self-contained annotated .lock.yml snippet to inspect, plus a prediction-then-check exercise. Add one short knowledge check on the two-file structure that is revealed after the learner answers. Add a recovery note for learners who have no .lock.yml yet.
Failure mode
Learning barrier. Fix it with scaffolding and practice, not by removing concepts.
