描述

  • The download cache eviction (CONTAINERBASE_CACHE_DIR) removes the files with the oldest mtime first.
  • A cache hit in HttpService.download (and the shell download_file reuse path) doesn't touch the file, so frequently reused archives (eg. node) are evicted first and downloaded again.
  • Touch the file (fs.utimes) on a cache hit, so the eviction removes the least recently used files first.
  • Follow-up of #8014.
