Seen on dev@debffabf6. Surfaced while verifying #1422; not introduced by it.
What happened
Current chat manual sections still show auditor as a role name and Needs your look as a task state, although the repo's person-facing vocabulary uses current task-state words and bans machinery terms. The corpus has a gate, TestNoChatPageSpeaksTheHarnessesOwnVocabulary, but it deliberately removes backticked handles before scanning. That explains why backticked auditor passes. Its regular expression also does not cover Needs your look.
Replication
Deterministic (no model). Run codeaf manual "what model checks task work" and codeaf manual "what happens to a task waiting on one needing my decision". Read the roles table and dependency table. Search the corpus for auditor and Needs your look; the quoted rows remain. Inspect the vocabulary gate's backtick carve-out and banned-word expression.

internal/manual/chat/commands.md:1885, models-and-cost.md:673, and how-tasks-run.md:2361 at dev@debffabf6 contain the terms. The gate is internal/manual/chat_test.go:2876.
The fix
Use the current visible terms in explanatory prose and tables. Preserve a machine-readable role identifier only where a person must type or recognize that exact identifier, with an explicit explanation. Extend the gate to cover retired state phrases.
