Compare those checks with the reported missing squads, rescue squads, replacement members, and possible animal or nestbox blockers. Stuck Squads bug
OP is down ~80 dwarves: one squad went missing, three rescue squads sent per DFHack's instructions also got stuck, replacement-member squads stuck too, and fix/retrieve-units did nothing. Repeated anecdotal correlation: pastured war/labor animals, and egg-laying pets trying to roost unfertilized eggs on nestboxes.
Possibly actionable items: broaden detection (e.g., squads flagged off-site longer than N days whose units never arrive - is there a way we can determine how long a squad "should" be gone?). Maybe add a notifier for pet/pasture blockers.
We know the existing tools don't do enough. This is a recurring complaint that deserves our concerted attention.
