Research direction

This is design work spanning a sharing format, an aggregation tool, a worked example and a process note, with no files or entry points named in the payload. Start by reading the linked readiness scanner epic and #4710 to learn the existing report format and priority process. Done would need an agreed JSON sharing schema, a working aggregation tool, and the example output, which the owner must approve first.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

enhancement legacy-modernization priority: medium scope:frontier

What. Customers (or our own trial runs) can share the anonymised readiness JSON. A tool aggregates many reports into a demand-ranked backlog: which unsupported features block the most programs across all estates. That drives what we build next (demand decides breadth) and feeds #4710 priorities.

Acceptance.

  • An aggregation tool and report.
  • A documented sharing format with no source and optional redaction.
  • A worked example aggregating the burned estates plus the census corpora.
  • A process note on how it feeds issue priorities.

Part of the estate readiness scanner epic (linked from the epic). Owner-approved direction, 2026-10-08.
