Research direction

Find the Vertical/Horizontal position sliders and their value labels in the Android app, then read how the existing long-press exact-value entry works. Add a visible way to open that entry and show two decimal places; done when users can discover exact-value entry and the displayed value preserves two decimal places.

Description

Problem Statement

The Vertical/Horizontal position sliders have a long-press shortcut for typing an exact value. It solved my alignment problem, but I only found it by accident because nothing on screen hints that it exists. Also, the label rounds to one decimal place (%.1f%%), so if I enter 3.27, it shows 3.3% and I can't confirm what was saved.

Proposed Solution
  • Add a visible way to open the value entry, such as an edit icon next to the value or a one-line hint ("Long-press to enter an exact value").
  • Show two decimal places on the position labels so they match what was entered.
