Bug Description

I use a DIY rule to always enable Smart Pixels on the AoD to reduce battery drain. This would be especially effective with the AoD wallpaper, but I've noticed that it's not being covered by the pattern. It also seems that the AoD wallpaper layered above the chequerboard pattern is tinting its dark areas, reducing its effect even further.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Enable smart pixels
  2. Enable AoD wallpaper
  3. Observe the always-on display
Expected Behavior

Smart Pixels should cover the whole display, including the AoD wallpaper.

Additional Context

This is Essential's AoD wallpaper feature and not the native one, as that isn't available on my Pixel 10 Pro Fold, for some reason.
