Reproduce the two "sin(a+b*x)/(x*...)".ToEntity().Integrate("x") inputs from the table and compare output lengths. The rule to read is SolveATrigonometricOfALinearOverAPowerOfALinear, especially where the Si/Ci coefficients at the roots ±sqrt(-f/(d e - c f)) are built and expanded. Done when the compound-coefficient case gives a reduced constant such as -1/(2 f) and its output length is close to the single-symbol case.

Descrição

A sine over linears whose roots involve a compound coefficient gets an answer about 20 times longer than the same integrand with that coefficient written as one symbol.

Input master 7df66948
"sin(a+b*x)/(x*(k*x^2+f))".ToEntity().Integrate("x") 575 characters
"sin(a+b*x)/(x*((d*e-c*f)*x^2+f))".ToEntity().Integrate("x") 11,876 characters

Both are answered by SolveATrigonometricOfALinearOverAPowerOfALinear. In the second, each of the four Si/Ci terms at the roots ±sqrt(-f/(d e - c f)) carries a coefficient of about 2,800 characters. It is a quotient of expanded polynomials of degree 7 in c, d, e, f, and it should reduce to a constant like -1/(2 f). Reducing the coefficients the partial fractions return to lowest terms does not change the answer, so the expansion happens later in the rule.

It matters for the Rubi 4.1.12 rows sin(a+b/sqrt(c+d*x))/(e+f*x)^m. Under t = sqrt(c+dx) and u = 1/t they become this shape, and their answers are 12K–33K chars.
