Research direction

Start in gknowledge/ui/window.py at _update_ingest_button() and check how it sets the button’s visibility, sensitivity, and suggested-action style. Run make start to open the demo project, then observe the button with an empty queue and after adding sources. Done when the empty-queue button is hidden or neutral and it reappears when sources are queued.

Description

area: ui good first issue

When the queue is empty the button is disabled but still orange, which looks like an error.

Where to look: _update_ingest_button() in gknowledge/ui/window.py.

Done when: with an empty queue the button is hidden (or neutral, without suggested-action), and it reappears when sources are queued.

New here? Run make start to open a demo project that restarts on every save, and make test for the core tests. See CONTRIBUTING.md. Comment below to claim the issue.
