Research direction

The report is that a QR code fails to decode from the full image but decodes when cropped to a region around it. Start by reproducing with the two sample images linked in the issue body and compare the whole-image and cropped decode results. The payload names no files or entry points, so locate the decoding entry point in the repository first. Done means the full image decodes or the cause is written up in the issue. The thread has had no reply in about 983 days, so expect to work without maintainer guidance.

Description

I have a image at the bottom of the image page. When whole image is imported it is failed to decode the image. However when I browse the fraction of image section including the QR, it scans with charm.
