What issue are you seeing?
In the Swedish UI, the “Keyboard shortcut to send” option is shown as Alltid ^ + Enter, i.e. Always ^ + Enter. Here, ^ means Ctrl, but on a Swedish keyboard ^ is the circumflex dead key and requires Shift. That makes the label look like it refers to a literal key and led me to try Shift + ^ + Enter. The intended shortcut is Ctrl + Enter on a Swedish keyboard.
Please spell out the modifier as Ctrl, for example: Always Ctrl + Enter, which is the keyboard shortcut that works.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
- Open the Codex desktop app on Windows with the app language set to Swedish and a Swedish keyboard layout.
- Open Settings and locate
Kortkommando för att skickaunderSkrivfält. - Observe that the option is labeled
Alltid ^ + Enter, i.e.Always ^ + Enter. - Try interpreting
^as the literal circumflex key, which is a dead key on a Swedish keyboard. - Verify that the actual shortcut for sending a message is
Ctrl + Enter.
What is the expected behavior?
The setting should display Alltid Ctrl + Enter, i.e. Always Ctrl + Enter.
Using the explicit modifier name Ctrl would make the shortcut clear and avoid confusion with the circumflex key on Swedish keyboards.
