Start with the live view and open_for_user in sentient/browser/service.py, then read the route in sentient/gateway/routes/browser.py and the panel and state in desktop/src/features/browser/BrowserPanel.tsx and state.ts. Add an explicit take-over state that pauses agent actions, plus a hand-back that resumes them, and show who is in control in the tab. Done when take-over blocks agent actions until hand-back and the UI reflects the current controller; document the endpoints in docs/API.md.

Each OpenAI Dot's browser can be opened to watch or take over. Sentient runs in the user's own browser profile and IP, so it likely meets fewer of the bot walls that stalled Dots' errands. That advantage is worth testing and advertising.
Idea: A clear "Sentient is using this tab" state, with a Take over button that pauses the agent and a Hand back button that resumes it.
Status in Sentient today: Partial. A live view and open_for_user exist in the browser service; there is no explicit take-over and hand-back state.
