What to build
Let a student add a course to the course-list step. Convert common typed spellings to the standard course code and show each accepted course as a removable chip.
Files
lib/screens/onboarding/courses_step.dart(new file)- Starting example: lib/screens/onboarding_screen.dart
Code to add or extend:CoursesStep({initialCourses,onSubmit,onBack}) and add-course handler.
Steps
- Hold a copy of initialCourses in local List and a code-input controller.
- On Add, call normalizeCourseCode; null displays Enter a course code such as CSCI 1301. and adds nothing.
- On valid result append a deletable InputChip and clear input; limits are next slice.
Example
csci1301 → one CSCI 1301 chip; nope → error, unchanged chips.
Check it works
In test/screens/onboarding/courses_step_11_test.dart, check the example above and the failure or limit described in the steps. Run flutter test test/screens/onboarding/courses_step_11_test.dart and flutter analyze.
