Direzione di ricerca

Start by reading .github/workflows/ci.yml and checking the repository’s existing or previous release workflow history, including the removal in #75. Set up a workflow in .github/workflows/ that builds with uv build, uses PyPI trusted publishing and the required pypi environment approval, with actions pinned to commit IDs. Done means a GitHub release can publish 1.0.0a1 to PyPI only after txoof approves deployment.

Descrizione

Area: ci (.github/workflows/)

What

The old release.yml was removed in #75 (it used retired GitHub actions). Before the first v1 pre-release, add a new release workflow:

  • Build with uv build, publish with PyPI trusted publishing (PyPI accepts uploads only from a named workflow in this repo, with no stored password).
  • Either reuse the name release.yml with environment pypi (what PyPI currently trusts), or update the PyPI trusted-publisher setting.
  • The pypi environment must require txoof's approval before anything is published.
  • Actions pinned to commit IDs, like ci.yml.

Done when

  • 1.0.0a1 is published to PyPI from a GitHub release, after txoof approved the deployment.
