Direzione di ricerca

Read the related issues #682, #643, #693, and #696 first to understand the existing ensemble, coordination-pattern, and export work. Then locate the ensemble views and calculation workflow entry points; the issue names no files or tests. Done means ensembles can be sorted and grouped by coordination pattern, selected structures can be superposed and sent to a new calculation, and panel data can be exported as CSV or JSON and reached from the CLI.

Descrizione

Ensembles from CREST (#682) and random-start xTB runs (#643) give tens to hundreds of structures per cluster (user wishlist, 2026-10-30). Wanted:

  • one table per ensemble with energy, coordination pattern (#693) and a thumbnail, sortable and groupable by pattern
  • selected members superposed in the 3-D view
  • "New calculation from selected", to send one representative per pattern on to DFT (e.g. as workflow steps)

Every panel's numbers should also be exportable (CSV/JSON) and reachable from the command line (#696).
