Descrizione

cosmo._ccl_to_camb (develop e14cd68, cs_util/cosmo.py:359) builds the CAMB parameters from H0, ω_b, ω_c, n_s, A_s (or σ₈ converted to A_s), w and wa, but never passes m_nu. So a CCL cosmology with, say, m_nu=0.3 gets CAMB's default 0.06 eV on the CAMB backend of get_theo_c_ell. The σ₈→A_s conversion runs on that same neutrino-free parameter set.

Measured with sp_validation's iNKA fiducial (Gaussian n(z) at z=0.7), CAMB/CCL − 1 at ℓ = 1000:

  • −4.3% with Planck defaults, where the gap is mostly CAMB's mead2020 vs CCL's halofit, which is a model choice;
  • −8.5% with m_nu = 0.3, where the extra gap is the dropped neutrino mass.

Fix: pass mnu=cosmo["m_nu"] (summed, if CCL holds it per species) into camb_params before the σ₈ conversion, and add a test that the CAMB backend responds to m_nu.

Found while merging develop into sp_validation's tomography branch (CosmoStat/sp_validation#374), where the iNKA covariance fiducial uses the CAMB backend.
