Research direction

The payload names no files. Start by finding where carried valve positions are allocated and where click positions snap to half-cells, then compare the two to see why a branch drawn to a valve starts at a different point. Done means a reroute → draw branch → reroute test keeps the branch attached, either by allocating snap-compatible positions with clearance or by resolving clicks to the exact carried-part position. Pick one approach and say which in the PR.

Description

agent area:holodeck priority:p1 review-finding

From the GPT review of #30: allocation places carried valves at arbitrary coordinates (e.g. (0.98,-3)) but clicks snap to half-cells and built-in valves have no port snapping, so a branch drawn to the valve starts at (1,-3) and the next reroute leaves it behind. Allocate snap-compatible positions (keeping clearance) or resolve clicks to the exact carried-part position. Test reroute → draw branch → reroute.
