Additional notes for reviewers

Resubmission of #5657, which was rejected because the CobuildX company website described these plugins as a way to try its approach "before you bring us in" for migration services. That website is for our consulting business. The plugins are a separate open-source project, and we have made that explicit in the plugin itself and in this listing:

  • Standalone open source, not a funnel. The plugin is free, MIT-licensed and complete on its own. It has no upsell, sign-up, license key, usage limit, contact form or "contact us" step, and it never calls CobuildX servers or collects contact details. The README now states this in a new section, "Open source, independent of CobuildX services" (added at v2.0.6).
  • Services are separate. CobuildX offers migration consulting as a separate business. The plugin does not reference or depend on it.
  • No marketing links in the listing. author.url now points to the GitHub organization (https://github.com/cobuild-tech) and the homepage is the plugin's README on GitHub, so nothing in this submission sends users to a sales page.

Pins the v2.0.6 tag and its full commit SHA. This is one of five sibling plugins in the same repository (ember, angular, backbone, jquery and vanillajs to React), each submitted separately.

What it adds beyond what a model does unaided, for migrating Angular (2+) and AngularJS (1.x), including hybrid ngUpgrade apps to React:

  • A structured migration workflow (full rewrite or incremental strangler-fig) that keeps resumable state in a .migration/ folder in the user's repo: unit list, route map, statuses and QA gates, so a migration can span many sessions ("continue the migration", "what's left?").
  • A read-only angular-inventory agent that maps every route, component, service, data-layer piece and hidden wiring before any code changes.
  • A read-only angular-parity-reviewer agent that checks each migrated piece against its original for behavior, markup, data and timing differences before the old code is removed.
  • A /plan command that writes a migration plan without touching app code.
  • The hosted Context7 MCP server (https://mcp.context7.com/mcp, no API key, no credentials) for current React docs.

No paid services, telemetry or secrets. MIT licensed. The root plugin.json follows the Agent Plugins v1.0.0 schema.
