Línea de trabajo
Start by resolving the dependency on #238 part 4-2 and reading how its scheduler commands are exposed. Then check the screen HAT pin usage mentioned in the issue before choosing GPIO pins; the payload names no files or tests to start from. Done means configurable short and long press actions work consistently with the scheduler controls, with the unresolved timing, bounce, wiring, and hardware testing decisions addressed.

Descripción
Idea from txoof (2026-10-11): one or two physical push buttons on the frame, wired to the Pi's GPIO pins, each with a function you can choose.
What it should do
- Each button gets a function for a short press and one for a long press, set in the config file (and later in the web interface).
- Suggested defaults: short press = Skip to next, long press = show the time (for example the fallback clock for one turn).
- Other functions to choose from: Show now (a chosen plugin), Refresh, Dismiss alert, Try again now, nothing.
- The functions use the scheduler commands added in M5 part 4, PR 4-2 (Skip, Show now, Refresh, Dismiss, Try again now), so the button and the web page behave the same.
To decide later
- Which GPIO pins can be used, given the pins the screens already use (SPI and the busy/reset pins of IT8951 and Waveshare HATs).
- How long a "long press" is, and whether a double press is useful.
- Ignoring a button that bounces (sends several presses for one press) or is stuck down.
- A wiring note in the docs (button between the pin and ground, internal pull-up).
- Testing without real hardware: a fake button in tests, and a test marked
hardwarefor the real one.
Depends on: #238 part 4-2 (scheduler controls).
