compatibility enhancement

Hi @id577

First of all, congratulations on the ADS mod. It's incredibly robust and adds great depth to FS25. I really love the CVT physics and the thermostat PID logic you've implemented!

I am the developer of the "Real Engine Temp" (RET) mod. I was looking into your code and realized that by combining our efforts, we could make the ultimate vehicle simulation mod. Your overall damage and maintenance system is perfect, but I believe my engine temperature physics could be a great addition to your architecture.

In RET, I've built some highly realistic thermal dynamics that could enhance the ADS temperature system. Some of these features include:

  • Non-linear Load Scaling: Heat generation isn't perfectly linear. A tractor under 90% load generates exponentially more heat than one at 50% load.
    Year-based Injection Mechanics:

    - DFCO (Deceleration Fuel Cut-Off): For modern tractors (electronic injection), heat generation drops to zero when going downhill without throttle.
    - Cold Start Rich Injection: Modern tractors can simulate rich fuel mixtures to warm up faster. This allows us to accurately slow down the base warm-up time for older tractors with mechanical pumps.

  • Air-Cooled vs Water-Cooled Engines: Distinct thermodynamic math to differentiate air-cooled engines (relying strictly on RPM and wind) from water-cooled systems.

  • True Weather Impact: Ambient temperature isn't just a cooling limit. The weather actively acts as a multiplier for both heat generation and the radiator's thermodynamic efficiency.

  • Tuning Integration: Direct integration with the [Adjust Engine Power mod]
The system detects Stage 1/2/3 tunes and realistically increases heat generation.

  • Future Expansion - Electric Vehicles (EVs): In a later phase, my thermal logic also calculates Battery Thermal Management (BTMS). This would be the perfect mechanic to finally introduce specific wear-and-tear and damage systems for electric vehicles in ADS!

I am fully open to sharing my code, explaining the math behind it, and working with you to adapt it so it fits perfectly within the ADS architecture. This would prevent players from needing to run overlapping scripts and give them the best of both worlds.

Let me know what you think of this idea! I'd be happy to discuss it further.

Best regards.
