Línea de trabajo

Abre workshop/08b-interpret-your-run.md y busca el ejemplo “Read the live log” y el ejercicio complementario “fill in the template”. Actualiza el ejemplo de escritura para que muestre safeoutputs add_comment y conserva intacto el ejemplo de lectura github.list_issues. Comprueba que ambas secciones describan la escritura de forma coherente.

Problem

The example agent log in the "Read the live log" section shows a comment-writing action going through the github MCP server:

🔧 Tool call: github.add_comment

This misrepresents how gh-aw workflows perform writes. Per the gh-aw architecture, GitHub write actions (adding comments, creating issues, etc.) are routed through the dedicated safeoutputs proxy/server, not through the read-oriented github MCP tool. The github server is used for read operations like github.list_issues (which is correctly shown earlier in the same example), but attributing the write to github.add_comment teaches an inaccurate mental model of the safe-outputs mechanism that the workshop explicitly links to and explains elsewhere (see Safe Outputs reference, which this same file links twice).

Current correct syntax / concept

Writes in gh-aw workflows go through the safeoutputs CLI/tool, e.g.:

safeoutputs add_comment --item_number 42 --body "..."

So the example log line should reflect a safeoutputs call, not a github call, for the comment-adding step.

Suggested fix

Update the example log (and the companion "fill in the template" exercise referencing it) to show:

🔧 Tool call: safeoutputs add_comment

instead of:

🔧 Tool call: github.add_comment

This keeps the rest of the example (github.list_issues for reads) unchanged, since reads via the github server remain correct.
