Research direction

Start by reading the workspace indicator implementation in the dock and discussion #588, which this suggestion references. Compare how active and inactive indicators appear in dark mode. Done means the active workspace indicator is tinted with the accent colour and is easier to distinguish at a glance.

Description

Needs Design Priority: Wishlist
Problem

There are currently few visual differences between the active workspace indicators and other workspaces indicators on the dock. It is especially difficult to distinguish them at a glance in dark mode.

Proposal

It would help a lot to tint the active workspace indicator with the accent colour.

This suggestion is taken from this discussion: #588
