Description
Add WebSocket and HTTP/2 support to Lambda Web Function endpoints:

  • WebSocket – Accept WebSocket upgrade requests and keep the connection open for full-duplex, bidirectional messaging between clients and your application, for example for chat, collaborative editing, live dashboards, or AI agents that stream in both directions.
  • HTTP/2 – Accept HTTP/2 connections from clients, and optionally use HTTP/2 between the endpoint and your application. This includes support for gRPC services, which require HTTP/2.

Tell us how you would use this: whether you need WebSocket, HTTP/2, or gRPC. How long connections stay open and how many concurrent connections you expect per endpoint; whether you need to send messages to connected clients from outside the connection (for example, from another service); and which frameworks or libraries you use (for example, Socket.IO, ws, or @grpc/grpc-js). Please add details as comments.
