Rechercherichtung

Start by reading the workspace View action and how it selects a terminal; reproduce the issue using the listed steps with R Console for VS Code. Compare that path with sending code from the editor, which still works. Done means the workspace can send code to the third-party R console without the warning.

Bug description

It looks like the development version making sending code from workspace, like View() only targets specific terminals and interactive window. It is no longer able to send to any other terminals. When clicking on view button, a warning message pops up saying that "R Workspace: This R session has no attached terminal. Attach its terminal or open it in an Interactive window. "

This leaves workspace not able to send code to my vscode-R-Console, while sending from editor still works. Could this be restored to the previous behavior?

Steps to reproduce
  1. Launch R Console for VS Code
  2. Create a data frame
  3. Click on view button
