Research direction

Read src/MeshWeaver.Documentation/Data/AI/ModelProviderSettings.md, especially the references at lines 82, 92, 202, and 218. Verify the current names and entry points against the Providers/ProvidersApp ProviderSetup view and the AI menu link /Provider/AiModels; done means the outdated ModelsSettingsTab.cs references are updated to match the current paths.

Description

documentation feedback sev:L

Moved from the fleet's private triage inbox (MeshWeaver.Feedback#52, filed 2026-09-27). Core owns it: src/MeshWeaver.Documentation/Data/AI/ModelProviderSettings.md still names ModelsSettingsTab.cs at lines 82, 92 and 202.

Claude agent finding, 2026-09-27, made while inventorying config surfaces for the domain configuration apps (MeshWeaver#5823).

The core doc src/MeshWeaver.Documentation/Data/AI/ModelProviderSettings.md (served as Doc/AI/ModelProviderSettings) describes memex/Memex.Portal.Shared/Settings/ModelsSettingsTab.cs as where per-user provider keys are entered, at lines 82, 92, 202 and 218 on core origin/main f78fcf692b. That file does not exist on origin/main of either core or MeshWeaver.Plugins. git grep 'class ModelsSettingsTab' finds nothing, and core's PlatformSettingsTabAreas registers no Models tab. The only other mention is a comment in src/MeshWeaver.GitSync/GitHubSyncSettingsTab.cs:28 ('Mirrors ModelsSettingsTab'). Per-user keys are entered today in MeshWeaver.Plugins Providers/ProvidersApp (the ProviderSetup view), and the AI menu links /Provider/AiModels.

Not established: when the tab was removed, and whether any deployed image still serves it. Only origin/main of both repos was checked; no running portal was checked. No repository or priority is assigned by this report.

Where: no main node — agent's own incidental finding
Context: Agent's own incidental finding; submitted per Doc/Architecture/IncidentalFindings. Documentation drift, not a runtime defect.
