Research direction

Start with CONTRIBUTING.md's "Adding a language" section, then open src/renderer/shared/i18n.js and copy the en block as a new it block. Register it in config.js and in the settings language select, then run npm test to catch any missing keys or placeholders. Done means the it block is complete, npm test passes, and the settings window renders in Italian without overflowing text.

Description

enhancement good first issue

The UI ships in English, Turkish, German, French and Spanish. Adding Italian is a self-contained first contribution, and it is picked automatically on Italian Windows once it exists.

Steps: CONTRIBUTING.md → Adding a language. Copy the en block in src/renderer/shared/i18n.js as it, translate the values, and register it in config.js and the settings language select. npm test tells you if a key, placeholder or registration is missing.

Please include a screenshot of the settings window in Italian in the PR so we can check for overflowing text.
