Research direction

Read AGENTS.md, then create the bug report form under .github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/. Include the requested environment details, reproduction steps, expected and actual behavior, and a warning to redact sensitive information; keep account requirements optional for local bugs. Done when the form renders in GitHub's issue chooser and existing issue and PR flows remain usable.

Description

Why

Bug reports need reproducible details without asking maintainers to chase context.

Scope
  • Add a GitHub issue form under .github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/ for bug reports.
  • Ask for the olf version, OS, install method, provider/preset/stage (if relevant), reproduction steps, expected/actual behavior, and redacted logs.
  • Explicitly warn not to paste tokens, credentials, Terraform state, or unredacted diagnostics.
Acceptance
  • The form renders correctly in GitHub's issue chooser.
  • Nothing forces an AWS/Azure account for local bugs.
  • Existing issue and PR flows remain usable.
Contributor notes
  • Keep this to one focused PR; follow AGENTS.md.
  • No Kubernetes cluster should be necessary unless specifically mentioned.
  • For Python changes run uv run --project tools/olf pytest tools/olf/tests and uv run --project tools/olf ruff check tools/olf (or narrower tests while iterating).
