Research direction

Start by locating the settings and avatar UI code for square profile pictures and the top-left Liquid Glass effect; the issue does not name specific files or tests. Reproduce with square profile pictures enabled on the reported device and build, then check that the avatar remains square without the circular glass overlay.

Description

bug

Describe the bug
While using the new glass ui redesign and square profile pictures together they clash with one another in the top left resulting in the square pfp and the circular Liquid Glass ui overlapping.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Enable Square profile pictures in NFB settings

  2. Top left avatar shows square as intended but has the glass ui circle overlaying it.

Expected behavior
I guess it would be to hide the glass circle effect for the avatar in the top left
