Research direction

The issue reports that enabled tab labels disappear from toolbar icons in version 7.3.0 on an iPhone 13 running iOS 26.3.1, but does not name a source file or test. Start by locating the Appearance setting for “Tab labels” and the code that renders toolbar icons. Reproduce the issue with the setting enabled and compare the result with the expected screenshot; done when labels appear on the tabs.
