Research direction

Start by locating the package metadata, release workflow, and installation documentation referenced by the issue. Check how releases are currently built and identify the workflow entry point for publishing; done means a versioned package installs from PyPI, the release process publishes it automatically, and the installation instructions use the PyPI command.

Description

Currently, users need to install our Python package directly from GitHub:

pip install git+https://github.com/NVIDIA/structured-data-models.git

For a simpler installation experience and easier integration with downstream projects, we should publish versioned releases of structured-data-models to PyPI, allowing users to install it with:

pip install structured-data-models

This would make it easier to discover the package, pin specific release versions, and declare it as a dependency in other Python packages.

As part of this, we should automate publishing through our release workflow and update the installation documentation.
