Research direction

Start by locating DECOHack's command-line option parsing and the code that assembles final patch information; the issue does not name specific files or tests. The requested outcome is --dump-patch-csv and --dump-patch-html switches that write the final patch information to the specified files. The issue gives no test or verification instructions.

Description

enhancement low priority

It might be a good idea to add a feature to DECOHack so that it can dump final patch info to something table-oriented like a CSV or HTML page or whatnot. Since I usually check my work in other editors like WhackEd, I can't always rely on other utilities updating themselves to work with future features, so writing this thing will help debugging.

Switches:

  • --dump-patch-csv [filename] - Dump info to a CSV file.
  • --dump-patch-html [filename] - Dump info to an HTML file.

Flagging as low priority, since this would probably help me more than anybody else.
