Research direction

The payload names no files or entry points, so first locate the dialpad screen and the existing multi-SIM handling in the Kotlin Android code. The request is to let the user choose which SIM to call from directly on the dialpad, as Google's Phone app does with its overflow menu. It is done when a SIM can be selected there and the call uses that SIM. The thread has no maintainer decision on the design yet.

Feature description

Hello, in the G**gle "Phone" app on the dialpad there are 3 vertical dots which allow you to choose which of multiple SIMs you want to call from. This s not in Fossify Phone even though it says "multiple SIM support". Dealbreaker for me.

Why do you want this feature?

I -must- have a choice of which SIM to call from.
