Research direction

The payload names no files, so start by reproducing on an Android device or emulator: add a file or link shortcut from another app to the home screen and tap it. Then find where the launcher's home-screen item tap handler decides between opening the target and showing the context menu. Done when tapping a file or link shortcut opens it, and the menu appears only for long-press.
