Assessment

This issue has not been assessed yet.

Description

Daily

Users can accidentally lose entered information by dismissing the right-hand panel (RHP). Reported examples include Account → Private → Home address and manually adding a bank account.

Reuse the existing “Discard changes” modal anywhere navigation or dismissal would otherwise discard unsaved input—not just Profile and Wallet.

Acceptance criteria:

  • Cover clicking outside the RHP and other applicable exit actions, including Close, Back, Esc, and swipe-back.
  • Cancel keeps the form open with entered values intact.
  • Discard explicitly abandons the changes.
  • Do not prompt when nothing changed, changes were saved, or input is already preserved.
  • Audit other forms for the same behavior.

Related: App#104579 already covers the Create expense flow; coordinate rather than duplicate that work.
