What problem are you trying to solve?

using worktrees when working on multiple tasks or branches, but there is currently no way to create or manage a worktree directly from the desktop app. I have to create it currently using the terminal that have that option

What would improve it?

Add an option in the desktop app to create a Git worktree when starting a project/session. Let users choose the branch and worktree location directly from the UI, without having to use the terminal
