No file, test, or entry point is named in the issue. Start by locating the desktop app's Git and project/session flow; trace how branch and worktree location choices could enter that flow. Done means a user can create a Git worktree for a session from the app without using the terminal.

What problem are you trying to solve?

using worktrees when working on multiple tasks or branches, but there is currently no way to create or manage a worktree directly from the desktop app. I have to create it currently using the terminal that have that option

What would improve it?

Add an option in the desktop app to create a Git worktree when starting a project/session. Let users choose the branch and worktree location directly from the UI, without having to use the terminal
