Research direction

Start by locating the settings menu code that selects the assets path and the map editing flow that saves changed map JSON files. Check how those paths are stored and how save operations identify changed maps. Done means users can choose a backup directory in settings and edited map JSON files are backed up there automatically.

Description

enhancement

Someone just gave me the idea to recommend automatic file backups.
There should be a directory (selectable if possible) where the map editor backs up the map jsons you made changes to.
In the settings menu, where you select your assets path, should also be a button to select the backup path.
